Marvin B. Gelfand, resident of Easton, CT, has been in public accounting since 1955. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Bridgeport in 1955, was the recipient of the E. Everett Cortwright Scholarship and elected to “Who’s Who” among students in American Universities and Colleges. He was chief of cost accounting in Fort Gordon, GA, Director of Citizens National Bank, Chair of Loan Committee and was on the Easton Commission on Aging. He currently holds the position of Treasurer of the Easton Democratic Town Committee, Commissioner and Secretary of the Police Commission in Easton and Commission of Employees Pension and Benefits.
